About the Item

Italian Art Deco table, in the characteristic Italian style of Paolo Buffa, Vittorio Dassi and Osvaldo Borsani. Composed of three materials, wooden structure then glass and parchment leather or goat skin. The table top is covered by a black glass embedded inside, well rounded on the corners and has a black lacquer frame that runs all around the edge of the glass. The band has the same frame in black lacquer below and above, with a parchment leather lining in the center, along the black edge are placed a brass battens. The corners are reinforced with small nailed brass inserts. The legs are four and single. It has an elongated ring shape slightly flattened in the center, and are positioned on the corners and go towards the center of the table, in an oblique position. It is made of wood covered in parchment leather, at the bottom it has a rounded wooden foot polished in black lacquer. Very elegant the leg so designed, with above this top with a very low band. Well preserved, the table is in excellent condition, however it has been well restored both in the wooden part and in the goat skin part. The glass top is in excellent condition. The restoration, like every piece of our shop, has been done respecting the original, maintaining its original state value. For each piece, before the departure, a revision is redone, to make sure it arrives in excellent condition.
