French Louis XV Walnut Dining Table

About the Item

Custom converted and modified vintage French Louis XV style walnut dining. Our in-house OPR Carpentry and Restoration Department, took it upon themselves to create this spectacular classic French 12' (fixed top) Louis XV style dining table from a vintage French draw-leaf with good bones. More often than not, vintage Louis XV style dining tables are of draw-leaf design, the kind that have self storing leaves that nestle conveniently under the top when they aren't being utilized. This unique table is always 12 feet long and believe it or not, utilizes many modified elements from the original table. When making this phenomenal masterpiece, we lengthened the aprons including the classic carved fleur de lys relief and of course, we extended the top and kept it extremely sturdy while doing so (we actually added a hidden steel sub-frame to keep it from sagging). Who would want an amazing showpiece like this, if all its attributes stopped at appearance? Not us, we strive for customer satisfaction, we have had many satisfied, repeat customers for more than 25 years. Our top rated in-house workshops include a full service custom carpentry and restoration department, a upholstery shop, and full metal-working and finishing capabilities, too. We also work with an amazing glass craftsman, a dynamite stone, marble and granite man, and we can also cast our very own bronzes, to boot.
