Custom Orange Painted Pedestal Table, Made to Order by Petersen Antiques
About the Item
This custom painted pedestal table is seen here with a super ellipse top in 48" x 34" x 28.5" H, however it can be built in any size and shape using the lamé curve equation (in this case, we made the tabletop shape using n=2.25).
As this table took shape it struck me that if Keith Haring would build a table, it would look something like this ;-)
Because each table is bench-made in our own Los Angeles workshop you can influence all aspects of design, including size, wood species and finish. We use only traditional carpentry techniques, no nails or metal fasteners of any kind. Just mortise and tenon construction reinforced with hand cut wooden dowels.
