Milo Baughman for Directional Dining Table in Walnut, Rosewood, Ash w/ 2 Leaves

About the Item

Made in the Unites States in the 1960s, this piece was manufactured by Johnson Furniture Co. and sold by Directional, who consistently sold smash hits from the likes of Paul Evans and Vladimir Kagan. Compared to most other popular Baughman designs, this table stands as a relatively early work. Instead of chrome and burl, it features a striking combination of rosewood, butternut walnut, and ash. These colors work very well together, especially when paired with the base, four thin legs painted black. Bookmatched from left to right, this table stands as a piece with awesome materials, great construction, and the prestige of an early work of a great designer. In good vintage and original condition. The leaves, which have seen next to no use, have colored somewhat differently than the rest of the table. We can refinish them to match closer to the table, or we can refinish the entire table to obtain a perfect match. Our in-house team has decades of experience restoring rare and important pieces. Peruse our storefront to see the quality of our work. Structurally sound with no damage. Extends from 72" to 108" with both leaves installed.
