'Nyotaimori'
Nyotaimori is a real step forward for Eglidesign limited edition and handmade collection pieces. It's hand-carved details of the intricate marquetry of differient mother-of-pearl sheets created by an artist. Nyotaimori is a tradition, often referred to as "body sushi", Japanese practice of serving sashimi or sushi from the naked body of a woman. It is something about hard, tremendous work and execution with amazing precision by our best artisans in the workshop. Handly carved details from massive wood and selection of various mother-of-pearl sheets infused into a surface. Every detail is executed with precision and finally, unique tabletop finished with a high gloss varnish called this technology as a piano finish.
This extraordinary piece combines new design and art trends, but never forgetting the rich tradition of the past. Nyotaimori is the piece that makes you feel majesty and noblessity as well as delicacy and glamor.
