One of a kind monumental 72 inch 8 seater Round Walnut Dining Table
About the Item
71.75" diameter x 29.125" tall. Monumental Dining Table is Radial Sunburst walnut. Created by Aaron Saxton using select flamed walnut from a unique log obtained where the patterns are non-linear utilizing the techniques from our custom doors of the same motif. This table is substantial, seats easily 8 or more persons and has substantial weight and is absolutely sturdy. The top is 1.5" thick providing 27 5/8" knee clearance. The table base has no obvious start or finish and is flowing. Finished with a satin finish that is renown for durability. Tops in this size are extremely difficult to produce and we will probably produce only a handful in the years to come. Two photos have been shown with a Knoll 1950's Cast iron base attached which is available if so desired. This is entirely hand-crafted and is unique. It feels as sturdy and as solid as it looks in the photos and more so in person. The walnut used is all architectural grade and none better to be found elsewhere.
