Orseolo Table by Carlo Scarpa for Studio Simon by Cassina, Italy

About

This sculptural-looking table by the italian designer, architect and artist Carlo Scarpa was produced, circa 1972-1973 as part of the Simon Collezione by Cassina. The classically formal table, in which the formal language of geometry predominates, receives its unique look through its polyester-coated surface and its unusual construction. Consistently strong wooden panels are joined together symmetrically with fasteners made of brushed aluminum parts.
