About

A mixed woods extension dining table manufactured by De Coene Freres between 1925-1930, Belgium. Species include; French oak flat cut, Bog oak, ebony, crotch mahogany. Pedestal column is fluted with an alternating french oak and ebonized oak pattern. pedestal base is made of hammered copper with copper rivets and copper reset band around column. beautifully restored with a wonderful French polish finish. Retains original drop down leg supports for expansion. There are two serviceable leaves, however not original. This piece would also make a beautiful center table.
