For this table, I first sauce the perfect slabs for the tabletop which can take some time to find, the main thing is that you are not in a hurry, this will be a one-of-a-kind unique project. Once I have found the perfect slabs I will send you photographs for you to approve and keep you updated as we progress to the final finishing. The oil finish can either be a natural ( main photos) oak or darker or lighter shades.
Oak can also be ebonized to an almost black with the grain colour still visible, see the Photo of the ebony finishes.
The tabletop has a complete live edge running around the entire circumference of the slabs.

This stunning Art Deco Machine Age cubist dining table was realized in France circa 1935. It features a two tier rectangular skyscraper style base consisting of a rosewood bottom (with a black lacquer top) with another rectangular form (of a smaller surface area) in black lacquer sitting on top of it. A volumetric tapered pentagonal form ascends to the bookmatched rose wood legs. These legs consisting of two tightly spaced rectangular columns, appear nearly as monolithic forms were it not for a generous seam of negative space down the center. The legs attach to a solid rectangular bookmatched rosewood top with a stunning striated natural woodgrain.
