Rare model XLight table designed by Alberto Meda in the 1980s and produced by Alias. Alberto Meda is an Italian industrial designer known for his innovative use of materials and technologies in his designs. He has collaborated with numerous companies, including Alessi, Kartell, and Vitra, and his work has been exhibited in museums and galleries around the world. Meda's designs are characterized by their functional simplicity, aesthetic elegance, and technical ingenuity. We love its design with four aircraft wings inspired legs in riveted aluminum on which rests a large chamfered oval top in blue-green tinted MDF. Very light stain on the tray. Copy of the Alias catalog. It can easily accomodate 10-12 guests. Manufacturer : Alias, circa 1989.
