In Stock - Bastogne Walnut Single Slab FIJN Dining Table
About the Item
A single slab of California exhibition-grade Bastogne walnut set atop oversized legs set in a brutalist stance. Handcrafted from one of our "unicorn" slabs - large enough to achieve a full width table over 11 feet long and 50" wide.
Blinding figure throughout with a little 'wabi-sabi' - organic details left intact at the end of the table.
The slab has been meticulously patched with inlays and the occasional bowtie to secure naturally occurring splits and inclusions. The undercut edge lightens the look while the thickness of the solid wood top remains very evident.
The table is supported by an inlaid steel frame running the length of the slab and attached to the legs.
The table as pictured is available and ready to ship measuring 132.5" L x 50.5" W x 29.5" H
Additional photos and video footage available on request - video footage will effectively capture the high quality of the slab, wood colouring and our high level of craftsmanship.
This design can be recreated in customized dimensions, materials and steel finish.
