Vittorio Dassi Palisander Dining Table with Marbleized Glass Top
About the Item
1950's Italian Rosewood Dining Table by Vittorio Dassi. The top is a single piece of glass which has the original reverse-paint marbelized finish the colors of creme brule.
At present we also have the matching long sideboard, also with the same glass.
Legs are sculptural tapered forms like a cubist rendition of a prancing horse. Very similar to designs by Ico Parisi.
Nice scale, perfect for smaller dining areas.
Best of all the finish is original and has the unique aubergine/purple heart tone when the light catches it right.
