American Federal Period Mahogany Dropleaf Worktable with Downswept Legs Paw Feet
About the Item
American federal period mahogany dropleaf sewing table with pedestal base supported by four graceful downswept legs ending in paw feet. A stylized curved cradle supports the upper case. This versatile sewing table has one drawer with the original dividers for sewing gear and a frame which can lock in place which formerly held a sewing basket (now removed). Circa 1810.
