About the Item

Grillo coffee table in curved glass designed by Vittorio Livi for FIAM Italia in c. 1980s. A single sheet of curved glass measuring 62x53x39 cm and 12 mm thick. Modern design characterized by sleek and soft lines. Vittorio Livi in 1973 he founded FIAM Italia, which was to become a world-leading manufacturer of curved crystal furniture elements. Some of FIAM Italia's products are still on display in 25 international museums. Always passionate about glassmaking, Vittorio Livi has won national and international recognition and awards including two "Golden Compasses" and even today his work is recognized. The state of preservation of the artifact is excellent and has the factory mark on the back in the lower right corner.
