CLASSIC PEEKABOO TABLE 1 In Studio Greytak’s Classic Peekaboo Table 1, dark, lustrous epidote crystals sit suspended in their matrix between three slender columns like an ancient relic displayed at the altar of an Ionic temple. Tapered walnut legs sliced by a shining band of steel, lead upwards to a blue-edged circle of clear glass with an astonishing view. From above, the table becomes a porthole to another dimension. Inside the deep green, almost black, crystals sparkle with the optimism of the stone. In life’s challenging circumstances it is epidote that urges a personal metamorphosis.
