Vintage Black Forest Style Carved Lamp Table

About the Item

Vintage Black Forest Style Carved Lamp Table was carved from solid sycamore to depict a thick canopy of flowers and leaves, hand-crafted for the Liberty & Company of London! The round top is completely covered with the bold carved floral motif, including the edges. A lower shelf smaller in diameter than the top is a miniature version of the same design, and helps to provide rigidity to the three elegantly scrolled legs, which also happen to be carved with the same floral and foliate motifs from top to bottom. What a whimsical way to display a sculpture or vase, or to use as a lamp table, or just to admire on its own! If you act fast, the original matching set of 4 armchairs is available as of this writing! See Related Products below left. Circa 1890s Measures 30H x 23 in diameter
