Vintage French Empire Style Side Table in an Ebonized Mahogany Finish, Restored
About the Item
Vintage French Empire side table or Empire end table that was recently restored in our Old Plank workshop. The finishing department hand-sanded and stripped the mahogany, without the use of any harsh chemicals and installed an Old School Ebonized finish when you can still see highlights of the brown mahogany peeking through. What’s a bit unusual is weight of the table, for it is exceedingly heavy and when you look at the underside you get the impression that one could easily install a 2” thick stone top on the Empire side table.
