French Belle Époque Game Table in Rosewood with Marquetry & Ormolu, circa 1880

About the Item

An exquisite game table in rosewood with fine floral inlays in various woods over the parquetry top. With bronze doré ormolu mounts on knees of cabriole legs, border of top & sabots on the front two feet. Line inlays embellish the sculpted, bombe-shaped apron. Hinged top swivels & opens to a square revealing a green felt gaming surface. France, circa 1880. Note: You should always request a shipping quote.
