Victorian Wicker Sewing Stand
About the Item
Part of a large collection of ornate Victorian wicker that was collected over the years by a Senator's wife. Rectangular in shape, this Victorian wicker sewing stand has a dome lid, ornate curlicue trim, an under basket for works in progress and bead work. It is ornately woven with a removable lid and ball feet. This would be perfect for the needle pointer, handy crafter, or seamstress in the family.

One of the sides is in perfect condition, but a few curlicues are loose or missing on 3 of the four sides. Considering the age, it is in good shape and very attractive. See photographs.
