George 1 Oak Lowboy

About the Item

A distinctive and unusual early 18th century George I oak lowboy, the thumb moulded top above one long and three short drawers with pierced brass handles of Gothic design, the ornamental apron with ogee cut detail, the whole raised on ball and claw feet with carved shell motif to the knees. England, circa 1725.
