A vintage Chinese sculptural pedestal from the mid 20th century, made from a tree root with lacquered finish. Created in China during the Midcentury period, this pedestal attracts our immediate attention with its intricate lines and warm color. Made from a tree root to which a lacquered finish was added, the pedestal exudes a sculptural presence. The flat and polished shaped top will make for a great place to display a plant, a vase or a small sculpture. Resting on three root feet, the pedestal is sturdy.
