About the Item

Side table designed by Adolfo Abejon. Material: Marquina marble or Carrara marble. Finish: Artisan polished. Colors: Marquina black or Carrara white. Dimensions: 42 × 32 × 43 cm (L × W × H). The Marble of the piece will be different for each table. This means that it will show different tones, lines as each piece is from a unique piece of marble each piece will be unique. Photos are only a guideline but the piece will never be exactly as shown on the photos. Production Lead time: 6-8 weeks Atlas is a side table made out of a Marquina marble block, extracted in the North of Spain. The piece takes its name after the young titan of the Greek mythology that was fated to sustain the pillars that separated the Earth from Heaven and its finishing is absolutely handmade. This futuristic sculptural work, perfect as a bedside table or to Stand by a sofa or an armchair, changes depending where it is looked from thanks to its polished finishing and dynamic shape. Designed by Adolfo Abejon. Manufactured in Spain in 2016. It has an artisan polished finish. Adolfo Abejon is the meeting point for the handmade process, for believing in small production and in limited short series. It gathers work based on respect for the local Craft and that highlights the communication between every aspect involved in creation; it banishes the mass production concept and understands collaborative mentality. This design concept merges humble aesthetics and quality philosophy, the conscious essence of the materials and the comprehension of their honesty. Calm and purity are two lines of work that peacefully coexist with their environment. These are presence exercises.
