About the Item
An elegant compatible pair of French Transitional style three-tiered marquetry inlaid side , end or serving tables in the manner of the Charles Topino, cabinet maker (French, 1742–1803 Paris). Expertly carved of quality tulip wood, each table features fine marquetry inlaid drawer front and inlaid side panels, back and kidney shaped shelves. geometrical and floral designs embellish the tables all the way around so they can be placed anywhere in a room. The top of the table is surrounded with patinated brass pierced galleries in heart shape. The drawers have brass pulls.
