French Antique Louis XV Style Side Table
About the Item
French antique side table in the style of Louis XV with three leather embossed drawers and two lower compartment shelfs. Stunning marquetry work adorn a beautifully shaped body with solid brass trim detail top and feet. The design workmanship to the marquetry is spectacular, top, sides and back. Originally a French Bureau Plat Attendant Table which would have been used alongside, underneath or on top of a large French Louis XV Style Desk. This table makes a excellent side table between two chairs, end of a sofa, standing alone or maybe you have a Antique French Bureau Plat that needs and Attendant Table. The back is so well done it can float in your setting and enhance any space. Very beautiful antique French side table. Late 19th century 1890-1900.
