A Moroccan Moorish style drinks table from the early 20th century, with star-shaped top, octagonal body, polychrome décor and carved flaming feet. Created in Morocco during the first quarter of the 20th century, this petite side table captures our attention with its elegant silhouette and beautifully hand-painted décor. The table features a mesmerizing eight-branch star-shaped top, painted with geometric motifs surrounded by a sinuous line of stylized leaves, boasting green, blue, black and yellow colors. The body showcases eight solid legs connected to one another through carved flaming motifs and painted with green leaves surrounding central cartouches accented with yellow ones. Highly recognizable for its abundant décor leaving no space empty, charming polychromy and skillfully carved body, this Moroccan Moorish style table circa 1920 will make for a lovely drinks table placed in a living room or under a covered patio, perhaps placed next to a bergère chair or a sofa.
