About

Pair of Merrow Associates Side Tables, England, c1970

Merrow Associates owes its existence to Richard Young, former Royal College of Art student also studied at the Royal Art Academy, Copenhagen under Professor Ole Wanscher. Young was obsessed by quality and the meticulous detail so typical of 1950s Scandinavian furniture.

As a substitute for marquetry and gloss, he frequently used a juxtaposition of rosewood and steel or steel and glass to create what are finally being being recognised as design classics which are attracting ever-increasing prices.

Please note that we will split this pair at $3,975 each
