Pablina Side Table Natural Quartzite Stone Unique Handmade Piece
About the Item
The diversity of the Brazilian forests is widely known. But there is another type of diversity hidden underground: the Brazilian stones.
Among more than 100 types of stones found in Brazil, this special edition created by Leo Di Caprio chose 6 types, and this side table is made with the marvelous quartzite, Azul Macaubas ("blue from Macaubas), which is considered the most precious quartzite in the world.
The intersection of the oval plans, at times seen edgeways or in frontal view, with the hand carved oval volumes, like pieces of jewels, evoke the rich game of shapes, shadows and colors in the forest.
The beauty of the stone and the primitive forms provide a sense of new, sophisticated elegance to the tables, a special hand carved stone for the house, a material link between the forest and mineral worlds, precious and mystical.
