An elegant and attractive early 19th century Empire mahogany architects table by Jean-Joseph Chapuis (1765-1864). The double ratcheted hinged rectangular top lined with dark green oilcloth above a frieze drawer, enclosing an open compartment and further slide covered in green felt, on square tapering legs. Stamped three times Chapuis.
