Travertine Marble Occasional Table with Two Positionable Glass Tops
About the Item
It seems nearly every decade of the 20th century has produced a version of this table concept, some adjustable, most not.
This version is from the late 1970's early 1980's and consists of three 8 inch diameter cylindrical segments of polished natural travertine marble which stay together by virtue of a hidden threaded rod which tightens by turning the top travertine section. Between the sections are two 20 inch diameter round tiers of quarter inch glass which can be repositioned as desired by loosening then retightening the marble sections.
Diameter expands from 20 inches to 31 inches by repositioning glass.
