About the Item
Alias Square Atlas Low Table O in White Top and Lacquered Steel Frame by Jasper Morrison
Small table with round base (thickness 8 mm) and leg in conic lacquered steel.
Top:
- Full Color plywood, th. 12 mm
- aluminium top faced with laminate, th. 6 mm
- marble, th. 10 mm (smooth finish with water-repellent and stain-resistant treatment)
ON REQUEST: also available in aluminum maple veneered, bleached oak, oak canaletto walnut th. 6 mm
Born in London in 1959, he trained in the UK, Germany, and the US. His most important designs include those carried out for Üstra: his “Hannover Tram” won the IF Transport Design and IF Ecology ‘97 awards. In 1999 he was commissioned to design the complete interior of the Tate Gallery in London, and he was editor of the 14th International Design Yearbook. He has been working with Alias since 1992, and designed the atlas system and tagliatelle (2011) for them. He lives and works in London and Paris.
