About the Item
Serif Series dining table
A single slab of 3” thick elm, with just a hint of live edge left intact. Grain matched steel inlay with removable plate revealing hidden storage. Signature Serif Leg in flame cut/blackened finish. Please note that each slab is unique, and variations in grain patterns are inherent to the design. As this table is made to order, variations in wood tone and grain patterns are to be expected. Custom sizes, finishes and materials are available

Modern Industry Design
Founded in 2010, Modern Industry is a modern furniture design and fabrication studio located on Chicago's West side. Devoted to the elegant marriage of hand craftsmanship with technological innovation, we create luxury contemporary furnishings made to be passed down for generations- the antique furniture of the future.
Customers can choose from a variety of domestic hardwoods, including Walnut, Oak, Elm and Maple, finished in a selection of standard finishes, or custom finish matching for an additional fee.
Steel can be finished in a variety of standard patinas, powder coated to any RAL color, or paint matched to any shade for an additional fee.
