"Once in a Blue Moon" Glass Topped Dining Table With Satin Finish Iron Base
About the Item
“Once in a Blue Moon” is a one-of-a-kind table designed and manufactured by KalaRara. The tabletop is created on canvas using a palette applied composite of pulverised Ligurian black marble mixed with crushed obsidian which has been stamped with antique Sardinian lace. In addition white mica powder as well as coral pink sand from Sardinia and acquamarine Murano glass crystals have been applied to the surface to complete the atmospheric lunar landscape. The tabletop has a tactile and sculptural look due to the materials used as well as the manner of application. A protective extra-clear tempered glass panel rests edge-to-edge on a hand forged satin finished iron base. Both the tabletop and the base were made by hand in Rome, Italy.
