English Dressing Table, Nutwood & Brass, Edwardian Style, Circa 1900

About the Item

Well-restored English dressing table from around 1900, crafted in nutwood with elegant proportions and a warm, natural tone. The piece features an oval tilting mirror framed by two small upper drawers, creating a balanced and classical appearance typical of late Victorian and early Edwardian design. The lower section is fitted with three additional drawers, offering practical storage and finely made brass handles that complement the wood’s color. The veneer surfaces show an attractive grain pattern, and the entire piece has been hand-polished to bring out its natural depth and sheen. The construction is stable, the drawers run smoothly, and the mirror tilts easily. Light wear consistent with age remains visible, adding authenticity without affecting usability. This dressing table works beautifully in a bedroom or dressing area and represents a refined example of English craftsmanship from the turn of the century. Height includes the mirror.
