Brutalist Brass Wall Sculpture Attributed to Luciano Frigerio, Italy, 1960s
About the Item
A 1970s brutalist Italian headboard attributed to Luciano Frigerio. This piece was originally designed as a wall mounted headboard; we envision this piece as a brutalist wall sculpture. Constructed with cast + hammered brass, it features a geometric design with curved line details. It has a hammered brass frame with subtly curved edges. This reminds us of the modernist architecture found in Milan’s old buildings. This piece can be hung or lean on the wall as a sculptural object. Unmarked. Sourced in Italy, 1970s.
