Japanese Antique Large Paper Boro / Wall Decoration /Wabi-sabi Mingei

About the Item

This is a large old Japanese paper, and it is speculated that it may have been used for sericulture. The appearance of being randomly pasted to increase the thickness of the paper has changed like art due to changes over time. The appearance decorated on the wall is a masterpiece, and natural changes such as color and wrinkles are harmonized in an exquisite balance. It is recommended to hang it on the wall, but because it is a sturdy paper and strong, you can use it as a rug in a large space and decorate a jar on it. Because the design is different on the front and back, you can decorate both sides. We recommend incorporating the beautiful changes of Japanese paper into the interior as "Japanese Paper Boro".
