Limoges France Porcelain Plaque Artist Signed Dubois of Outdoor Festivities

About the Item

This is a wonderful Limoges porcelain plaque painted by the Limoges sought after artist Dubois. It is beautifully painted. It depicts a group of people dressed in late 19th century clothes enjoying a beautiful afternoon of outdoor festivities. The gentleman has a net with which he is trying to catch butterflies, while the two elegantly dressed ladies are watching him. In the background, there is anther lady who is serving refreshments. This plaque has a gilded fluted border that accents the lovely painting by Dubois. On the back are four holes that make it easy to put wire or string through to hang on the wall. The Limoges plaque dates back to the 1890s-1910. This would be a stunning decorative piece on your wall. Price of hand-painted Limoges plaque-$1200.00.
