"Old King Cole, " Rare, Striking Linoleum Panel with Nursery Rhyme Motif

About the Item

Utterly charming and graphically strong, this depiction of Old King Cole with his three fiddlers is an original linoleum panel produced by the Armstrong company in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, designed for a nursery or children's room. The colors -- slate blue, deep coral and sand -- are brilliant, and the linoleum is in remarkably fine condition, now mounted on board for easy hanging.
