A brush and ink drawing on tan paper by the American artist William Horace Littlefield (1902-1969). From a 1928 series of drawings depicting dynamic, lithe boxers in various stages of a match. Some of the images from this series were then published as lithographs, such as those in the collection of the Harvard Art Museums.
Signed and dated lower right. The drawing comes in a glass and wood frame.
