About the Item
This is a large mid-century French Academic drawing by J. L. Clemenceau (listed artist) that dates to circa 1945-50. The drawing was removed from the signed Ecole Des Beaux Arts academic portfolio of Clemenceau and custom framed. Clemenceau graduated from the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux Arts, Paris. He was active in the Parisian art scene and was a noted paintings teacher during the second half of the twentieth century.
