Original abstract acrylic painting on board by Carl Alexander Von Volborth (1919-2009). He was an instructor at Cincinnati Art Institute and a renowned author of numerous books including several on art history and technique, most known as a German-American heraldic artist and heraldist. This abstract was a Christmas gift signed by the artist on back and initialed and dated on the front in the lower left corner. Canvas Board measures 16" x 20".
