Elizabeth "Motley" Montgomery ( 1902-1993 ) a much celebrated English artist painter fashion designer scenic painter and two time Tony award winner. She received international acclaim under the pseudonym - Motley Theatrical Design Group. A number of her theatrical portrait paintings are in the permanent collection of The Victoria and Albert Museum, London. Original oil on board portrait painting of world renown premiere Swedish theatre actress singer Ulla Sallert ( 1908-2023 ) for the original starring role ( alongside Robert Preston ) as the French countess Diane de Vobrillac in the Broadway NYC musical - Benjamin Franklin in Paris, 1964.
