About the Item
A mid century impressionist style oil on canvas showing Le Pont Marie one of many bridges across the Seine in Paris during the fall or winter by an un documented artist who simply signed his paintings Morgan. From a typed label on the frame of the canvas the artist was born in Marseille in 1915 and sold his art himself much like the painters you can can see in Montmartre and through local galleries. The painting is presented in a simple period wooden frame which has been freshened with a light gold finish.
