An acrylic on canvas abstract painting by American artist James Massena March (1953-2021). Signed "J. Massena March" to the bottom left, this colorful work has solid, defined shapes overlapping sections of gears and industrial parts. The painting is displayed in a black wood frame. James Massena March was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and spent most of his life living in Ohio. March attended The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and Rhode Island School of Design for some time, eventually receiving his Bachelor's degree from Cleveland State University and Master's of Fine Art at Kent State University. His work is in the collections of PNC Bank, Cleveland State University, and Case Western Reserve University.
