About the Item

From the world renowned Portobello Market in London, this authentic antique oil painting, circa 1840, features a casual floral arrangement in a muted color scheme showcased in an ornately carved giltwood and gesso frame of the period displaying elegant scroll and gold leaf detailing. Oil on canvas, unsigned. Ready to hang. Good antique condition commensurate with age with a few minor tatters observed upon close inspection. Wear to gesso noted on the lower left hand corner of frame. Overall presentation is pleasing, displaying authentic markers of age true to the period. Please examine photos carefully for details.
