"Fresh cut" By Kelly Sullivan. Inspired from a trip to Amor village, Uganda for the Mighty Fingers Facing Change global art project. The green leaves behind loaded on the bike are maize plants. Maize plants are used for feeding cattle. The man is on his way to the market, riding on Nangongera Road, in Tororo, Uganda. Kelly Sullivan and her global art project, Mighty Fingers Facing Change (MFFC), contributed in helping the Portland Nursery and Primary School of Amor Village, Uganda. "Maine Coast" Created in the studio after 10 days of painting on the Maine Coast. The painting was inspired by Boothbay Harbor, Maine. The painting size is 44" x 60". With the frame, the size is 54" x 70". The painting is framed in a custom closed corner, metal leaf, wood frame. "Maine Coast" is one of nine artworks featured on the CBS set of "Madame Secretary", a political drama featuring Téa Leoni. Seven life size prints, and two small originals hang in the MaCord family home. "Maine Coast" is the last original left from the works chosen for the series. On the set, the life size print of " Maine Coast" hangs in the foyer off of the dinning area. "Maine Coast" hangs in the dining room of the set.
