Raoul Morren, is known for his use of found and repurposed materials, brought together to create one of a kind works of art. This body of work is inspired by a love of nature and Material history. Morren combines antique elements, found objects, vintage textiles with a collage and drawing based process, crafting geometric compositions highlighted by texture and mark making.
“I love to use cast off and unusual materials in my work, to take a discarded, time worn piece and give it a new life feels very natural and organic to me. The palettes I use are things found in nature and I am deeply influenced by my home in Los Angeles. The combination of these elements give life to my work.”
