About the Item
A beautifully framed vintage maritime painting of a clipper ship at sea. Painted on canvas, this nautical piece depicts a large wood ship at sea. All of its masts are at full sail and appear to be going at full speed in high wind. The sea beneath the ship is in a deep ocean blue with white surfs. The skyline behind the vessel is a baby blue with a few clouds just on the horizon. In the upper left corner of the painting, three seagulls fly above the masts. The frame is beautiful in brown, with an ornately carved giltwood detail in the center of the frame. The inner frame is covered in a creamy linen fabric.
The artist's signature is located in the bottom right corner. At the back, a wire for hanging is stretched across.

This floral painting represents the artist's awe for botanical and floral scenes as well as his or her adept knowledge of tactile painting. With broad sweeping strokes and high texture, the artist paints a portrait of a small circular Ombre deep blue vase, filled with creamy white ranunculus or buttercups with berry color centers, green eucalyptus and small accents of white hydrangea.
