This pool-side scene with its beautiful deep blue tones falls between landscape and interior. It is part of Michael Stuetz's "California" series of photographs scenes of seemingly banal moments that are rendered uncanny.
Stuetz, a New York based photographer, has had numerous solo exhibitions and has participated in group shows in the U.S. and internationally. He received a BFA from the School of Visual Arts and an MFA from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Recently, Stuetz's "Bullfight" photographs were shown in a solo exhibition at Cafiero Select Home.
