About the Item
Robert Altman's cult classic "The Long Goodbye" was released in 1973 and has gone on for selection by the Library of Congress for preservation as "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant. Starring Elliott Gould as Phillip Marlowe in the adaptation of Raymond Chandler's 1953 novel of the same name, the film follows the private detective as he investigates a web of deceit amongst friends and lovers.
This wonderful original US One-Sheet poster is from the first 1973 promotion of the film, with the classic quote "Nothing says goodbye like a bullet" and features the iconic artwork by Vic Fair and is in fantastic condition.
