Original antique magazine advertising poster for Licht und Schatten Jeden Freitag 20 pf. vierteljahrlich 2M25 / Light and Shadow every Friday costing 20 pf. weekly 2.25 quarterly featuring a great design by the German illustrator and graphic artist Emil Preetorius (1883-1973) of a man with black skeletal bony hands wearing a long red and yellow striped coat and holding a walking stick with his copy of the magazine tucked under his arm, a little white dog with his ear up listening attentively walking on his side, both of them casting long black shadows onto a yellow background, the bold stylised lettering above. Very good condition, minor staining, fold.
